the cultural form of modernity

#Modernity took itself seriously. It claimed: order is man-made, truth is produced, knowledge is constructed. With that, the human moves to the center — not God, not cosmos, not tradition. This move carries everything: science, law, public sphere, politics. But it also carries its own overload. Because the same form organizes itself through distinctions like ((truth)error), ((public)private), ((identity)access), ((human)communication). They make the world workable — and at the same time generate the very problems that are then passionately addressed.
