Worum es geht?
European.Social fordert einen Euro­pean Social Stack: eine europäis­che soziale Infra­struk­tur aus offe­nen Plat­tfor­men, offe­nen Pro­tokollen und pri­vat­en Mes­sag­ing-Sys­te­men. Genan­nt wer­den Fedi­verse, Atmos­phere, Matrix und XMPP. Ziel ist ein europäis­ches Social Web jen­seits monop­o­lis­tis­ch­er Plat­tfor­men.

Warum es wichtig ist?
Die Ini­tia­tive erken­nt das Prob­lem der Plat­tfor­m­macht. Aber ihre Antwort bleibt ein Stack. Sie will nicht aus der Plat­tform­logik her­aus, son­dern eine europäis­che, offene und demokratis­chere Ver­sion davon auf­bauen.

Kon­tex­tu­al­isierung
Der blinde Fleck liegt in der Form. Wer Plat­tfor­m­macht kri­tisiert, aber erneut Plat­tfor­men, Gov­er­nance, Betreiber, Förder­logiken und Tech-Stacks organ­isiert, bleibt im sel­ben Prob­lem­raum.

Nicht: Wer soll die soziale Infra­struk­tur betreiben?

Son­dern: Wie wird Plat­tform­logik über­flüs­sig?
